FAQ:

Q: What is the difference between briefs and bib shorts?
A: Cycling briefs are designed to be worn underneath regular shorts or leggings, adding padding so they feel like bike pants. Bib shorts, on the other hand, have shoulder straps for extra support and comfort on longer rides. They are designed to be worn on their own, without any additional padding underneath.

Q: How comfortable is the 3D gel padding?
A: The 3D gel padding is contoured to female anatomy, providing cushioning without bulk. It compresses and absorbs impact from the saddle, allowing you to stay comfortable for dozens of rides without soreness or chafing.

Q: Can I wear these for running or other sports?
A: Yes. These briefs are designed for cycling and work well for running, gym workouts, or any athletic activity where extra padding and support are needed under regular shorts or leggings.

Q: Will these stay in place during rides?
A: Yes. The Lycra blend and contoured fit ensure these briefs stay in place without rolling, shifting, or pinching during rides or athletic activities.

Q: What makes OCG underwear different?
A: We design all our gear in-house and work directly with manufacturers—no middleman; providing unique and original gear to you at direct-from-manufacturer prices. This lets us deliver unique designs, superior padding comfort, and pricing that other brands can't match.

Care Information

Online Cycling Gear products have been developed to serve cyclists of all ability levels with materials to help maximize the comfort on the bike all year round.

OCG gear is durable but not invulnerable, so please take not of the care instructions when washing your gear to maximize the use you get out of your purchase.

If you have any questions, please contact us and we will do all we can to help (but sorry, we can't come and wash your clothes for you!).

Washing Instructions

Washing instruction icons are printed on the inside of the collar of all OCG jerseys. Following these instructions will maximize the life of your OCG gear.

  • Close all zips and fasteners and turn the garment inside out to avoid fasteners rubbing on other clothing in the machine and to protect logos and prints.
  • Hand or machine wash on a lukewarm cycle (max. 40°C / 104°F)
  • If possible, wash your cycling gear separately to avoid rubbing on abrasive clothing such as denim.
  • Use a small amount of liquid detergent and avoid powder detergents or any products that contain fabric softeners, stain removers or bleach as they may affect garment performance.
  • Hang dry on a hanger or dry flat outdoors to prolong the life of the fabrics and chamois. Avoid tumble drying if possible. Do not iron.

Other Tips

  • The last thing you want to do after a long ride is head straight to the laundry, but you can still prevent bacteria from forming on your gear if you hang them on a laundry rack. This allows them to dry completely and air out for your next ride. If your cycling clothes are dirty, rinse them in cold water before airing them out to prevent stains from setting.
  • Place your cycling gear inside a delicates laundry bag or lingerie bag to prevent straps wrapping around other clothing or the machine spindle.
  • If you hand-wash your garments, remove excess water by placing one article of clothing inside a towel at a time and wringing the water out. This helps your clothing dry faster once you place it outside.
